what a weekend

So St. Patty's Day came and went and now I'm left exhausted and with a sore throat. We kicked it off Saturday night by heading out to Scottsdale where there was a block party. In one of the bars called Upperdeck we hung out with some guys that bought us shots of tequila, that did not go so well. On the ride home I decided it would be a good idea to fight with all my friends. I usually don't become an angry drunk....unless...i drink tequila...

Monday, George dropped Alicia and me off at Padre Murphy's pretty early so we can start our day drinking. I got to hang out with a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while so that made it extra fun! BUT I am definaltely going to take a break for a while. The weekend is catching up to me and now I think I'm getting sick. Oh and yesterday I helped Alicia move into her apt. which was extra fun because they are on the second floor. well its time to get some much needed rest.

His Royal Airness

The some people think best move Michael Jordan ever made in his career was to retire, others was to play for the White Sox, others thought it was his return to the NBA and others thought it was his retiring, yet again. I think his best move ever besides the Hanes commercial and buying the Wizards and playing for the Wizards was Space Jam, which should have won some kind of Academy award. So many memories tied to this movie.
I watched Jordan at a Spring Training game with my dad..
Coco was a baby. Still in overalls.
Looney Tunes was still on.
Muggsy Bogues was playing.
Charles Barkley at church and 150 lbs lighter.
I just wish they would make a Space Jam 2

Matsuri

Today my friend Baldi and I finally made it to church. It was something we had been talking about for a while so hopefully we will be able to go every Sunday and possibly go to the Young Adult meetings they have weekly.
After mass we changed and headed out to the Japanese Festival they have downtown every year. It was so nice out even though it sprinkled for a bit. We walked around and observed everyone and everything. Some of the people there were dressed incredibly weird. I can understand the kimonos but we saw a girl dressed in a Alice and Wonderland outfit. So bizzare. The most exciting part of the festival for me is seeing the dogs! If I ever get an expesive dog I would most likely get a Shiba Inu, they are soooo cute and very intelligent. The bonsai trees are also amazing! If they weren't ridiculously expensive I would buy one. I think I am going to do some research and grow my own bonsai tree and make a miniture community around it. Kind of like the one in BeetleJuice.

blah

Today was the longest day ever!

I have a huge test tomorrow and all I can think about is going to the zoo and back to Flagstaff. I took Coco and George this past weekend for some amateur sledding. It was so much fun! I can't wait to do it again! Now that its getting hot I can't wait for the summer when I get to go to the lake and the river for some good ol day drinking!!!

I'm starting to get worried because I have to apply for scholarships soon and I doubt I'll get any. I don't have time or patience to read through the forms and write essays. Maybe I'm not cut out for this university business.

Weekend Hangover

Its Monday and the Superbowl is over. The Patriots lost a good game. Everyone has packed up and waiting for their flights home and I'm here left with my weekend hangover. I had the funnest week I have had in a long time but now its time to rest and get back to my normal schedule.

Friday after class despite the fact that Sam and I got into a huge argument the night before and we were both still pretty bitter about it we headed out to TPC in Scottsdale for the FBR Open which should be called Golf's Biggest Party according to Sam. Due to the type of event it is they were not allowing cameras or cell phones so of course I was sneaky and managed to take two quick pictures. This is the second year that we go to the FBR Open and it just keeps getting better and better. Some people are actually there to watch golf but most are there to get drunk, smoke cigars and hit on 50 yr old broads with huge fake boobs. Sam and I are there strictly to make fun of these people. This ended in Sudden death on Sunday between Phil Mickelson and JB Holmes but in the end JB Holmes won. The fan count for FBR Open was more than 538,000 people. Thats probably why it is actually called "The Greatest Show on Grass."
After getting home and resting for a bit I got ready and headed out to Westgate. Sam and Kelso picked me up. Alicia, George, Jr, Jesus and Baldi ended up coming too. I was extremly happy being able to hang out with all of my close friends. My friend Stephanie which I have known forever and is like my little sister almost met up with us also.
For a while we stood outside of Margaritaville hoping to catch a glimpse of famous people because I heard that Adam Sandler was going to be there. I didn't get to see him but I did see Dion Sanders and Tom Chambers. I also saw Dave Munsey again. After that the ever so famous Phunk Junkeez were on stage playing. They have been out for a while and they always put on a good show so we "rocked out." Back at the Fox Sports Grill, Alicia and I encountered the crazinest lady ever. I'm not sure if she was drunk but she was talking about Hilary Clinton and telling us what she would do to Bill Clinton if she ever met him. I really think this lady was on crack because she was not making any sense. Eventually she got kicked out because the ladies in the restroom were complaining about her but not before my friends and I got a quick picture with her.
After the crazy lady experience we ran into some of our friends. One of them which I had not seen in years! A few beers turned into a couple shots then before we knew it we were getting kicked out because it was already late. In what seemed like a wink of an eye we managed to lose one of my friends and looked for him all over the Westgate area for about an hour. That was no fun.

After a few hours of sleep Saturday I went to my soon to be God Daughter, Hailey's birthday party. My friend decided that she hated me and the world and moved out to Buckeye which is pretty much almost California. That drive was very interesting. I got incredibly lost and was feeling sick from the night before that after 40 mins of driving I just wanted to pull over and take a nap in my car. I hadn't seen Hailey in a while. She turned two and man oh man is she demonstrating the terrible two's to the max. Rolling around on the floor screaming one minute and tossing all her toys around the next.
After birthday cake and ice cream I decided to drive home to take a nap before I headed out. Alicia told me earlier in the week that her cousin who is a promo girl could get us into the Playboy Superbowl Party but they had been playing phone tag all week. Finally I got a phone call from her telling me to get ready cause we were partying with Hugh Hefner that night. We got ready as fast as we could and headed out to The Rawhide in Chandler for the party. We were so excited to be there we were giddy when we were driving up. There were so many people there. Nick Cannon was the DJ. We saw Hugh Hefner and his brother Keith Hefner. The Girls Bridgette, Holly and Kendra looked beautiful. We also saw McLovin, the rapper Common, Gabrielle Union and Kevin Connolly. Luckily for me Alicia watches the MTV/VH1 reality shows because she was pointing out all the people that I didn't know like the girls from Brett Michael's Rock of Love and LC and Audrina from the Hills. The party was awesome they had open bar, all kinds of food, gift bags and a photo booth but I guess that was the $2,000 tickets include. Yowza!

Superbowl Sunday we watched the game at Sam's house with his brother and his friends. I forgot how fun they are to hangout with. It was an exciting game but the commercials were a let down. Not to mention somewhat racist. My favorite was the e-trade baby. Since almost everyone there was rooting for the Giants they all decided to make fun of me when the Patriots lost. Its ok theres always next season. Now its time to focus on basketball including college ball and the Primary Election. Hopefully after the All-Star break the Suns will pick up the pace and work on their defense.

After only about nine hours of sleep this weekend I think its time for a nap. Best weekend ever.
